How to Root the Kindle Fire HD and get Google Play Store (Hack)

Ok so I know this has nothing to do with internet marketing or any of the categories that Traffic Marketing Daddy is about but hey I thought I throw this out anyway because I Mike Chiong (The Traffic Marketing Daddy) am also a "part time" hacker and love to share the wealth of information that I have come across. Disclaimer: I've personally tried this method with the Kindle Fire 7" HD, not sure if it works with the 8.9" HD version also so try it at your own risk. If it does please let me know in the comments section below or share your experiences with using this guide.

First of all of if you don't have the Kindle Fire 7" HD or the Kindle Fire 8.9" HD yet then it's time to buy it first. It is still one of the most powerful and advanced tablets and for the price you can't beat it!!

If you never got a Kindle because you thought it was crappy just have the limited version of the Amazon Store or you wanted to get a real Android Tablet to  then fuggetaboutit.. now you can unlock it's full potential and get the full line of Google Play Store Apps so it is just like having a real Android Tablet.

How to Root the Kindle Fire 7" HD


& Get Google Play Store


Part I - Rooting the Kindle Fire HD


You Can Root Your Amazon 7" Kindle Fire HD  In Version 7.4.3 With The Bin4ry Method.

Step By Step Instructions:


Step 1: Download The Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31.zip.

- Step 2: Extract The File.

- Step 3: This Step Is Very Important. Uninstall Any Drivers You Have For The Kindle Fire HD. Connect Your Kindle To The PC Via USB. Press The Windows Start Button And Search "Device Manager" Go to >Portable Devices. "Right Click" On Kindle And Choose "Properties". Go to "Driver" and Click "Uninstall". Then Unplug the Kindle From the PC.

- Step 4: Now Download And Install Kindle Fire ADB Drivers. (Google Drive Link)

- Step 5: Now On your Kindle Fire HD Go To "Settings" Then >Security. Mark "Enable ADB" - ON.

- Step 6: Connect The Kindle Fire HD To The PC Via USB. Wait Till Automatic Installation Completes And Kindle is Recognized.

- Step 7: Navigate To The Folder Where You Extracted The Bin4ry Method And "Double Click" the "RunMe.bat" File And Choose Option 1.

- Step 8: On The Kindle Fire HD Select The Option "Backup My Data" And Wait Till The Backup Completes (When The Backup Completes, On The Computer Press Any Key). Then Select The Option "Restore My Data" (This Will Not Erase Any Data Or Files) And Wait Till The Restore Completes (When The Restore Completes, On The Computer Press Any Key).

- Step 9: Your Device Will Reboot 2 Times.

- Step 10: When Your Device Boot Select Select The Option "Restore My Data" Once Again (This Will Not Erase Any Data Or Files) And Wait Till The Restore Completes (When The Restore Completes, On The Computer Press Any Key). Your Device Will Reboot Once Again.

- Step 11: When Your Device Boot, Unlock Your Device And Go To "Apps Drawer", You Should See The "Superuser" App.

You are now ROOTED !!!


PART II - Getting the Google Play Store on the Kindle Fire 7" HD


Just Follow This Easy Step By Step Instructions


- Step 1: First Download All Of The Following Files:
Account And Sync Settings-2.3.4.apk
Google Login Service-4.0.3-239410.apk
Google Play services-3.1.59 (736673-34) .apk
Google Play Store-4.1.10.apk
Google Services Framework-4.0.4-338691.apk
Vending.apk
ES File Explorer-3.0.5.apk - If You Don't Have Any File Explorer You Can Download One From The Amazon Appstore (I Reccommend Using ES File Explorer, It's The Better One).

- Step 2: Then Transfer All Of Them To The Kindle Fire HD.

- Step 3: Go To ES File Explorer, Go Into 'Tools' >'Root Explorer' >'Mount R/W' And Set Both To 'RW'.

    
- Step 4:
 Now You Can Just Install (In That Order):
Account And Sync Settings-2.3.4.apk
Google Services Framework-4.0.4-338691.apk
Google Login Service-4.0.3-239410.apk
Google Play services-3.1.59 (736673-34) .apk
Or You Can Copy Those Files To system/app Folder (Without The Google Play Services App, Intall That One).

  

- Step 5: Reboot Your Device.

- Step 6: Now Copy The Vending.apk To system/app Folder (Copy It). Then Tap The Vending.apk And Replace It.

 

- Step 7: Reboot Your Device Once Again.

- Step 8: At This Point You Can See The 'Android Market' App In The 'Apps Drawer'. Now You Can Just Open The App And Set Your Account, Or Update To Google Play Store.

- Step 9: Updating To Google Play Store. Search For Google Play Store-4.1.10.apk You Downloaded, Tap To Install And Replace It.

- Step 10: Reboot Your Device.

You're Done! You Should have the Latest version of Google Play Store as of August 9th 2013 !!
