Top Free and Paid Blog Directories to Submit your Blog to

So you got a blog ? But who knows about it ? Are you sharing your blog posts on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Delicious, Google +, etc? Do you have an RSS feed that readers can quickly access your blog through an RSS Reader like Digg ? How about submitting your blog to Top Free and Paid Blog Directories. As you know Gaining exposure for your blog is critical to building a following and revenue. After creating compelling copy, titles, descriptions and link strategies, it’s time to list your blog in one or more directories.

There are many paths to building links, such as link baiting or blogroll-link swapping, but few are as easy to implement and cost effective as submitting to blog directories. And good link juice makes for a growing blog.

2) Blogged.com now called Chime.in is an interesting mix of a directory and a Google News type site that is fed by the blogs listed with Chime.in. And it’s free to list your blog or share content from your blogs.

3) Blog Catalog features a vast number of categories, from “academic” to “writing”, while offering the ability to search by country, language or user. It has a no-frills design, but offers convenient access through a simple blog registration.  As per their terms:

6) Bloggernity is a crisp, clean and easily navigated site. It’s low ad-to-content ratio has helped solidify its reputation as a quality directory.

7) Spillbean is a well-designed directory with categories such as “health,” “society,” “Internet,” and “personal.”

8) Blogging Fusion boasts over 60 categories, including family-focused blogs. Blogging Fusion has an good number of listings, and it also has visitor stats. Blogging Fusion has both Free Listings and Paid Lists.

1. Best of the Web Blog Search remains a powerful tool for sharing your blog, especially since this director’s very selective, listing only mature and valuable blogs. A link from here is majestic. This will currently run you about $149 to post this directory.

2. Bloggeries is one of the most respected blog directories. The layout is clear and concise, and readers are able to find what they are looking for in a snap. Bloggies currently has annual listing plans starting at $49.99 and Lifetime permanent list plans starting at $199. Definitely worth the price if you consider doing a Lifetime permanent list because it will never expire.

3. EatonWeb Blog Directory is a powerful list. The fee, currently $34.99, pays for a review of your blog. Also not a bad one -time only fee to get listed with EatonWeb.

4. While the design and infrastructure have changed somewhat over the years, Blog Search Engine remains one of the most selective blog directories on the web. Membership has its privileges. Currently only $14.99 for Standard membership and $24.99 for Silver Package.

5.  Blog Universe has a layout that’s easy to navigate and, although the content is limited, it’s an all-around good directory worthy of submission.  For only $4.99 you can get your site reviewed within 24-72 hours.  For $49.99 you can sponsor a category page and get added exposure to your site. You will be listed in one of the boxes in the sidebar for one month and will have your blog (if applicable) reviewed and added to the directory.  For $124.99 - You Get listed on the front page of this site for two months and get seen by about 20,000+ visitors to our site. That's pretty awesome exposure.
