FIELD AGENT App REVIEW - A Mystery Shopping App

Field Agent App Review - A Mystery Shopping App

Field agent is a fun mystery shopping app that is a quick, easy, and lucrative way to make money online. Anyone can be a Field Agent but  at this time it is only available on iPhone. As a Field Agent you are paid primarily to perform audits at various local stores. The majority of the jobs are at Wal Mart but I have also done shops at Kohl’s, Costco, Shopko, Target, and Best Buy. I have seen jobs at the Apple Store but I have not personally done any of them. With Field Agent you are asked to do a variety of different task such as take pictures, count out of stocks, and even test displays. Most jobs pay between $2 and $8 but I have seen them as high as $13 and as low as $1. The more complex the job is the more you will usually get paid. There are occasional Jobs that are just surveys that you can do from anywhere. In 1 year, I have completed 147 jobs and made a total of $728 from Field agent.

Field Agent Is Recommended

How Field Agent Works

When you log into the app you will generally see several jobs available in your area depending on how much of a distance away you set your filter. You can sort them by payout or by distance, from your current location or zip code. Jobs are on a first come first serve basis so make sure to check for them often. When you accept a job you are given only 2 hours to complete it, most jobs only take a few minutes once you arrive at the store. If you fail to complete a job in 2 hours or you supply inaccurate information it affects your agent score and you don’t get paid. Most of the time when jobs are not completed or are not accepted they are put back in queue for another Field Agent. After you complete a job for Field Agent it is usually put in for review, it generally only takes a few minutes to a few hours to have your work reviewed, after the Job has been reviewed and accepted you can request a payment at anytime you like. They pay you directly to your PayPal and they cover the fees. It can take up to 48 hours for them to process the payments.

How To Deal With Problems

Although the jobs are usually  straightforward there are times when the instructions are a little vague. I try to always provide all of the relevant info I can in the space that is available, I had 1 job (out of 148 that I have done as of this writing) rejected and I wasn’t paid for it, even though I believe the job wasn’t completely clear. I also had an experience while I was doing an audit at  a local Wal Mart where an employee saw me taking pictures and reported it to the store director. The store director came out with security and asked me to leave. When I inquired with Field Agent support I was told that we have permission to mystery shop at the corporate level but if we ask for permission at the store level it will negatively impact the results. I was still paid $13 for that audit even though the job was incomplete because it was not my fault. It is important to remember that as a Field Agent you are mystery shopping so you never want to let anybody know what you are doing.

Is There A Referral Program?

At this time there is no referral program. They claimed to be working on one over a year ago but it appears that they have grown enough for it not to be necessary,  I believe that way they are able to pay more to existing agents. Here is the link to get Field Agent in the App Store.

ZAPPIDY REVIEW ( iPhone APPS THAT PAY )

Get Paid While You Shop

Zappidy by Datahound LLC. is an app that pays you to do micro jobs such as brief surveys and mystery shopping. Zappidy is very similar to Field Agent and the original version of GoSpotCheck. It is currently is only available for iPhone and iPad but there is an Android version in the works. I initially downloaded the original version of Zappidy in late 2010 or early 2011, after about a year of checking it and finding no jobs I deleted it. Recently Zappidy has changed ownership and become a very viable app with many micro jobs available. In the first two weeks since I downloaded Zappidy again I have been paid 26 times for a total of $114.21 in PayPal cash. I should mention that $16.21 was an accidental overpayment due to them working on getting the new payment system in order, I tried to return it but they said to keep it.

Zapiddy Rewview - How Zappidy Works

How Much Can You Earn?

So far all of the jobs that I have seen have paid between $1.00 and $6.00. The surveys that I have done have been in the $1.00 to $2.00 range and the actual mystery shops where I have needed to verify prices or find products at a particular store have paid between $4.00 and $6.00 each. I am sure that there will be different types of jobs in the future that pay different amounts as this service matures. There is currently a yearly earnings limit of $570.

Zappidy Jobs

What To do If The Job Cannot Be Completed As DescribedThe majority of the jobs so far have been very simple. All of the surveys have been very brief and asked mostly about personal preferences. The Mystery shops have required going to the store that the job is at to take a picture or multiple pictures and answering some questions about products or demos. All of the mystery shops that I have done have been pretty simple and they usually limit the number of pictures which is nice since taking too many pictures can get you in trouble with the stores. The majority of the jobs I have done were at WalMart but I have also done them at other stores including Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Fred Meyer and Costco.

Since this is a very new app that still has some bugs there are going to be times when there is no way to give the exact answers or pictures that the job is looking for. I have run across several jobs that there was no way to give the correct photo. At this time all photo questions require a photo even if it is not the one they are looking for. If you cannot take a correct photo or there is not the correct answer it is important to document any discrepancy and let them know what you have found. If your picture does not match what they expected and there is no way to give a reason in the app it would be a good idea to email support and let them know what happened. I suspect some of these things will get worked out pretty quickly.

Can You Reserve Jobs?

I have done some pretty intensive testing and at this time there does not appear to be a way to actually save jobs. You can put them into the “My Jobs” folder but there is a limited amount of slots for each job and they are released and allocated on a first come first served basis nationwide. I have found that people can still do the exact jobs locally even if they are in your My Jobs folder. I have had many jobs in the “My Jobs” folder disappear. I even drove about 30 miles to do several jobs in another state only to have them disappear as soon as I got there. The company has told me that they are working on a solution to this but at this time I don’t recommend going very far out of your way to do jobs since you do not know if they will be there when you arrive.

 Signing Up To Zappidy

When you sign up to Zappidy there is a brief profile questionnaire that they ask you to fill out. One of my favorite features of this app is the fact that they donate 10% of gross revenue to your favorite Children’s Hospital. Being the parent of a special needs child I am really happy to be able to contribute in this way to the amazing hospital that has helped my daughter so much. I ask that anybody who does not have a favorite hospital on the list please consider choosing Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Is There A Referral Program?

At this time there is no referral program. They are focusing the budget toward paying more for jobs and making donations to children’s hospitals.

Here is a link to download Zappidy for free in the iTunes App Store:

Cashing Out

After you complete a job in the app it is put into a queue for review. It takes about 5 days for them to complete the verification process; sometimes it is a little longer and sometimes a little shorter. Once they confirm that the work was done correctly they automatically issue a payment to your PayPal for the job and they cover the PayPal fees.

Zappidy Support

One of the most important aspects of choosing a company to work with is how good the support is. I have found the support at Zappidy to be excellent so far. Not only have they been very good at responding to me and dealing with any concern or issue that I have had, I have also seen some of the emails that they have sent other people thanking them for going above and beyond the jobs. I have to say that this is a rare quality in this type of app and it is very much appreciated.

 Helpful Zappidy Tips

  • Since there is no way to actually reserve specific jobs it is a good idea to not go very far out of your way to do the jobs. Jobs can disappear at any time.

  • Make sure to check the app often as new jobs are added day and night.

  • If you get caught taking pictures in a store it is helpful to have a reason you were taking the picture. If you let them know you took a picture to make sure you were getting the correct item for a spouse or significant other it will usually diffuse any potential situation.

CASHCRATE REVIEW ( CashCrate Website & Android APP THAT PAYS )

Make Money Online With Paid Surveys And Free Offers

CashCrate is a GPT website that has been around since 2008 with an app that pays you to do various activities on your Android. You can also use iPhone through Safari. I have been using CashCrate off and on since about 2010 and I can say that it is definitely one of the best GPT websites/apps that you will find. My total current earnings from CashCrate are $41.34 with $8.39 pending.

CashCrate Is Recommended

CashCate Review - How CashCrate Works

How Much Can You Earn?

CashCrate is a standard GPT site so they pay you to do things like surveys, sign up for offers, and watch videos. Since there is such a wide variety of activities and offers that you can earn with that range from $.02 to watch a video to $36.00 and up to apply for a credit card in this app there is no limit to the amount you can earn if you put some effort into it. I have not focused on this site as much as I should, since I just recently discovered there was app, but I have found the earnings to be higher than most other GPT sites that I compared it to.

What Kind Of Offers Are Available?

When you log on to CashCrate you will see tabs across the screen that has the different opportunities available. Currently you can choose from: offers (which cover all of the main GPT stuff), surveys, top surveys, referrals, videos, bonus surveys, bonus offers, cash tasks, and shopping. You are paid $.03 just for logging in each day and if you manage to log in everyday for a month there is a bonus $.50 which I have gotten in the past but it is difficult to be that consistent. There is a pretty decent toolbar that pays you for searching but I recommend installing it on a separate browser than your primary if you use it since toolbars can be annoying on your main browser. It takes a while to figure out exactly what works best for you but I have had pretty good luck with offers, surveys, and videos on this site.

Paid Search

I really like paid searches. Unfortunately, this one is only available each day if you have made at least $1.00 from offers. You can use it 5 times for free when you are a new user but this restriction will likely keep me from using it as often as I like.

Coupon Codes

There is a newer feature that I just discovered called coupon codes. Coupon codes are found on the CashCrate Facebook and Twitter pages. When they release coupon codes you get them and enter them into the coupon code box located under the Community tab at the top for bonus cash.

Daily And Weekly Game Tournaments

The CashCrate game tournaments are awesome. My favorites are: Toader which is virtually identical to Frogger that I played on Atari as a kid, Snake Fish which is the classic snake game, and Wrecked Angles which I know is a knockoff of some other game but this is the first place I ever played it. You have to earn points either by completing regular offers, bonus offers that are for points only, or winning games. There are no cash prizes for games but you can win cool gift cards like iTunes, Amazon, and Starbucks or physical prizes such as a Playstation 3 or iPod touch if you are skilled enough to beat other players either in daily or weekly tournaments. Warning these games are highly addictive if you are competitive and have a tenancy to suck you in and take lots of time away.

Contests

From time to time there are various events and contests which pay bonuses to the top earners during the contest. The details can usually be found in the news feed on the right side directly under the check in tab. I have not participated in any contests yet but they appear to be very lucrative for the winners.

Signing Up

The sign up process is pretty quick and easy. Anyone from any country can sign up but there are not always offers for every country, the referral program is available to everyone. They give you your first dollar at signup and provide plenty of good information about how to complete offers.

Is There a Referral Program?

CashCrate has a very generous (and very complicated) referral program. In addition to little perks and bonuses everyone gets there are 5 different levels in the program depending on how many referrals you have 2 levels deep, they are: Bronze which pays 20% of the first level earnings and 10% of second, Silver which requires 50 referrals to join that pays 25% on the first level and 10% on the second, Gold that requires 150 referrals and pays 25% first level and 15% second, Platinum which requires 300 and pays 30% on the first level and 15% on the second, and Platinum at 500 referrals that pays 30% for first level and 20% for second level. There are also lots of extra perks and bonuses available as you climb the levels.

My referral link is http://www.cashcrate.com/5420738  and as always I appreciate anyone using it.

Here is the link to the CashCrate Android app in Google Play.

Cashing Out

With Cashcrate you do not have to worry about cashing out. Once you reach the $20.00 minimum they automatically cut you a check by the 20th of the following month. You can get paid faster depending on what level of referrals you are on. In my experience the checks have come on time so far.

Customer Service

At this time I have not had any reason to contact customer service. There is a really great support forum available to help with everything including strategies and figuring out new opportunities. Everything works really smoothly and it seems like they would be available right away if they were needed.

Helpful CashCrate Tips

  • If you are able to log in everyday and check in that is an excellent way to make some easy passive income without the need to do any offers or surveys.

  • Make sure to use real information and only do offers that you want. If you use fake info it is against the TOS and you might not be paid or even possibly banned since fake info is fraudulent.

  • The videos generally pay better than most sites so I recommend watching them on this site if you like to get paid to watch videos.

  • Keep watching for new ways to earn since they seem to be constantly innovating and making this site more fun.

15 iPhone Apps that Pay You for Using Them (Infographic)

Every year people spend billions on iPhone apps that entertain them, guide them and even help them get more organized. Usually apps cost money, and we all seem quite happy to pay for what we think is going to keep us occupied for a few hours. Apps in general are the ultimate procrastination tool, and we usually use them more than we should. Wouldn’t it be great if there were apps that we could download for free that actually pay us for using them?

As it turns out, there are quite a few of these iPhone apps, and I will present some of them here in this article. Out of pure curiosity, how much money do you think you have spent on iPhone apps since you got your first iPhone? It is said that every person who owns an iPhone spends around $150.00 per year on iPhone apps. That is a considerable amount of money, and enough that would make anyone start thinking about which ones they buy, right?

Maybe there is a way to pay for all of those iPhone apps without having to take it off your paycheck. In a fresh infographic called Apps Which Pay You presented by Top Apps, we are informed of 15 iPhone apps that actually go as far as paying you for using them. The reality a little bit different from the written word, we all know that. When these iPhone apps say that they pay you, they won’t do it just for using the app per say, there is of course more to it than that.

The effort comes in various missions and tasks that could earn you up to as much as $200.00 per completed task or mission. You can even make $50,000 a month if you are really good at what you are doing. The most rewarding app that I like is an exercise application called GymPact. It will have you work out and make money continuously just because you are working out. I know it sounds weird, but it actually works. However, if you break that pact, you will have to pay a “fine,” so you better be on your game for that particular app. There are of course more than just iPhone apps on this infographic, but it is ultimately for iPhone users.

GET Your Own BITCOIN WALLET - Be Your Own Bank

A “wallet” is basically the Bitcoin equivalent of a bank account. It allows you to receive bitcoins, store them, and then send them to others. There are two main types of wallets. A software wallet is one that you install on your own computer or mobile device. You are in complete control over the security of your coins, but they can sometimes be tricky to install and maintain. A web wallet or hosted wallet is one that is hosted by a third party. They are often much easier to use, but you have to trust the provider to maintain high levels of security to protect your coins. There are four main wallets that we recommend for beginners.

Coinbase

Sending coins with Coinbase

Coinbase is a web wallet with a simple design and a number of very useful features that make it excellent for beginners. You can send and receive bitcoins via email and buy and sell bitcoins directly from Coinbase. A full-featured Android app enables access to all account functions on the go. Coinbase’s founders have a proven startup track record and have raised money from very prominent venture capitalists. This gives Coinbase a level of legitimacy unparalleled in the Bitcoin space. They are also one of the only large Bitcoin companies to never suffer a major hack. Click here to sign up.

Electrum

sending coins with Electrum for Windows

Electrum is a software wallet that enables you to set up a strong level of security very quickly. During the simple installation process, you are given a twelve word phrase that will allow you to recover all of your bitcoins in the event that your computer fails. Your wallet is also encrypted by default which helps protect your coins against hackers. Electrum is available for Windows, OSX, and Linux and is our recommended software wallet for beginners. Click here to download the right version for your operating system.

Bitcoin Wallet for Android and Blackberry

For those looking for mobility and security, we recommend the simply-titled Bitcoin Wallet mobile app. There is a version for both Android and BlackBerry OS. It is a software wallet, so you retain complete control over your bitcoins. It also works well with QR codes and NFC, making transferring coins to someone else’s phone easier than writing a check. Be sure to backup your wallet (with the included “Backup Wallet” feature) or you risk losing all your coins the next time you get too close to a pool.

Blockchain.info

One of the quickest and easiest ways to get a Bitcoin wallet is to simply go to Blockchain.info and fill out their brief requirements. Blockchain.info is another web wallet like Coinbase and provides a simple setup and mobile access to your account via their Android app. They also provide a number of other useful services to the Bitcoin community.

Other Wallets

We also recommend a few other wallets, but not for the beginning Bitcoin user. If you are up for more of a challenge, Armory is a good choice for those requiring the highest possible security, and the original Bitcoin-Qt client is also trusted and worth learning how to use.

Next Steps

Now that you have a wallet set up, it’s time to learn how to get some bitcoins.

17 DIRTY LINK BUILDING and SEO TOOLS Every Link Builder Should Have

Dirty, filthy, disgusting link building. You love it, don’t lie.

Ok you don’t have to love it, but if you’re a smart SEO, even in 2014 you’ll respect it. Tactics come and go but many tools have remained a staple of automated link building for one main reason, they work. With the right operator behind them and an effective strategy all the tools listed below can be used to create a solid ranking system.

Proceed with caution, for once you visit the dark side and taint your white hat SEO virginity, it can not be undone. It is also highly recommended that you drink at least one beer while operating these tools. Unlike operating heavy machinery, it is actually beneficial to consume alcohol while link blasting.

Link Building Automation

GSA Search Engine Ranker

This is by far my favorite link building tool right now. It is crazy flexible and able to build some rather niche specific high quality backlinks on the first tier with the proper filters and manually spun content. Then for tier 2/3 links it can’t be beat, combine it with Kontent Machine and you can literally set up tier 2 blasts in a matter of minutes. As if the price of GSA wasn’t already ridiculously low ($99), here is a GSA Search engine ranker coupon that works for both SER and captcha breaker.

Rankwyz

Rankwyz allows you to manage a web2 and WordPress blog network. The difference between Rankwyz and say Ultimate Demon web2s is Rankwyz allows you to manage and repost to the blogs with ease. This sets them apart from the 1 page keyword.wordpress.com spam blogs. Google can see the lack of depth in those links, no bueno. Here is review of Rankwyz to check out and learn more about the service.

Link Emperor

This service is actually quite effective but use it with caution on your first tier. For example, the private network providers, sure they are some juiced links, but having tier 1 links you cant control on blog networks doing god knows what is never the safest strategy. But what you can do, is use Link Emperor or LE for short as a tier 2 cannon. Since these links will rank a site on the first tier, imagine how powerful they would be for juicing up some super legit first tier links.

Scrapebox

Do we even need to go there? If you do SEO then grabbing a copy of ScrapeBox is like bringing a calculator to Math class, it’s that important. So get on it.

Gscraper

It was quite noob of me to overlook Gscraper, this thing absolutely kills it. Combined with their proxy service it’s all I’m using for scraping, cancelled my 100 dedicated proxies for scraping and now I just rock this. Mass PR checking, mass scraping, sick proxy DB to just beat the hell out of, two thumbs up for Gscraper.

Content Creation Tools

Kontent Machine

Using Kontent Machine and GSA you can literally blast an unlimited amount of links. Since Kontent Machine allows you to export GSA ready templates you can literally pump out campaigns in a matter of minutes. My VA can churn them out all day.

Wicked Article Creator

The competitor to KM, WAC for short, is a beast mode content scraper. It gives you more control over your scraping on a line basis and also exports pre-made templates like KM. Overall for the hands off GSA templates KM is the best, but for my mass text manipulation needs, WAC you’re my boy blue.

Wordai

Wordai is used for auto spinning content. It’s the premium solution for auto spinning, a step up from the Best Spinner and with the right settings can be used on the first tier with low outputs.

The Best Spinner

For manual spinning nothing beats TBS, yes manual spinning is a complete  pain in the ass. It works though so quit your wining and go hire a VA.

Backlink Checking and Rank Tracking

Ahrefs

Of all the backlink checkers out there, Ahrefs hands down beats the shit out of everyone. It blows the doors off Opensiteexplorer and spanks Majestic SEO the same. I know because I’ve blasted tons of links and used them all, clear cut Ahrefs finds way more than the competition, every time.

Microsite Masters

Gotta track them ranks, unless you like throwing darts blind folded. Micro site is my shit. Ability to add notes, share rank charts, sound tracking, microsite masters wins the day.

Inspyder Backlink Monitor

Inspyder is a very cool tool for multi tier backlink analysis. It allows you to see where there are holes in your tier structure along with identify non-indexed backlinks. This way you can build additional tiers or force indexation where needed.

VPS, Proxies, and Captcha Solving

PowerupHosting

Another awesome company that I’ve been pleased to work with. Right now I’m running 3 different servers, the Hyper-V pro VPS model with 5gb ram. They are amazing for running ScrapeBox, GSA, Ultimate Demon, SEnuke, etc. Hit them up and they will deploy your VPS within a few hours.

GSA Captcha Breaker

This captcha breaker has saved me literally thousands of dollars in captcha cost. It runs along side GSA and several other programs cracking a huge % of captchas for free beyond the initial cost of the software.

SquidProxies

For your private a shared proxies this is hands down the best service out there. I have thoroughly tested them in this post and SquidProxies came out on top by almost 7 times!

Social Signals

Syndd

I am by no means a big fan of Syndd, but social signals aren’t always the easiest thing to generate naturally. So what are the solutions? Not many, it really comes down to Fiverr and Syndd. And I can assure anything from Fiverr is going to be be beyond complete shit. You’ll be literally getting theworst social signals possible.

Now Syndd is a step up from that shit but a necessary evil. It’s not same as getting a tweet from Pete Cashmore, so don’t expect viral traffic. But if you’re trying to make a site look natural while blasting links some social signals are key now days.

Expired Domaining

Freshdrop

This is the tool I used to find that 90% of my awesome domain snags. Freshdrop pulls expired listings from all the big domain registrars and gives you a huge range of metrics on each domain. Some of my favorites are, Majestic SEO backlinks, PR, Fake PR check, Archive.org records, google indexed pages, age, traffic, .edu links, .gov links, dmoz listed, and a ton more.

And that’s all folks, as the times change this page will be updated with the latest tools for automated link building. As of now this lineup is the cream of the crop.

If you have a question about any of these tools and their effectiveness, please leave a comment below. After posting this some solid questions came in and most of the value is now in the comments and replies. So hit me up!!
